Do injuries discriminate? The social determinants of injury

People are not affected equally by injury. Understanding why is the premise of a new report released in January by the Atlantic Collaborative on Injury Prevention (ACIP) entitled The Social Determinants of Injury. The report provides a review of the literature related to social and economic conditions as they relate to intentional and unintentional injuries.
