Alber Suicide Prevention Network

Suicide prevention programming/projects/activities are conducted throughout Alberta by a variety of different organizations and individuals. Currently there are no formal structures to support communication and linkages between these groups. In June 2011, the Alberta Centre for Injury Control & Research hosted a teleconference for stakeholders. Participants expressed interest in a network to facilitate information sharing, to enhance collaboration and to reduce duplication.

Information in the form of an electronic email is sent out bi-weekly. Members of the network are encouraged to provide content including information on projects, research, training opportunities, resources, etc.
