Application and support documents for Cycle 13 Community Injury Control Fund CICF)  Applications for smaller Cycle 13 grants may be submitted after April 1, 2012 and for larger grants according to the deadlines listed below

The purpose of the CICF grants is to stimulate and support local collaborative action to increase injury awareness and reduce the frequency and severity of injuries within Alberta communities. Grants are intended for specific, time-limited projects that address unmet primary injury prevention needs. The term "primary injury prevention" refers to strategies or actions taken to reduce probable injury threats or events from occurring.

Up to $250,000 will be available for the 2011/2012 fiscal year.

Two levels of grants are available:

  • Larger Grants (>$4,000−$15,000) and; 
  • Smaller Grants (≤$4,000). 

 

Smaller grants are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing first come, first served basis.

2012/2013 Larger Grants

  • Consultation Deadlines:  May 15   and   October 15
  • Submission Deadlines:  June 3 and November 1 

 

2012/2013 Smaller Grant applications will be accepted at any time.
